Day 5: Skagway, AK

From July 4th to July 11th we cruised on the Sapphire Princess from Seattle, WA to Victoria, BC and Skagway, Ketchikan and Juneau, Alaska with Dad, Cory, Patty and Carly. Here are some snippets of our journey.

Day 5: Our visit to Skagway, Alaska began with a walk through scenic downtown. Charming and settled at the base of snow-capped mountains, the small city had a western, tourist-oriented feel to it, not unlike my own hometown.

After exploring downtown, we headed back to the pier to board our train, the White Pass and Yukon Scenic Railway. The topography, colors and vegetation along the way reminded me of the mountains of Wyoming where I grew up.

Dad and Aden waiting to board... Aden... So tired of having his picture taken already!
