Day 3: Ketchikan

From July 4th to July 11th we cruised on the Sapphire Princess from Seattle, WA to Victoria, BC and Skagway, Ketchikan and Juneau, Alaska with Dad, Cory, Patty and Carly. Here are some snippets of our journey.
Here we are before leaving the ship in Ketchikan, AK. Me, Dad, Patty and Aden on our way to the rain forest tour.

Before our tour, we spotted jellyfish and starfish in the ocean near the ship. This was very exciting, as we did not know these creatures lived near Alaska!

At the rain forest, Aden was quite tired of being asked to hold still for the camera.
The most exciting creature Aden viewed in the rain forest? This GIGANTIC slug!!

Sea planes were landing taking off and landing right around our ship. We watched them from the balcony later in the day.
