50-50

In reality it is probably 50-50 that we are going to be living in this house.  It is immaculate and lovely in every way, but needs a few more updates than we initially expected, meaning the asking price is on the high end given the necessary up-front expenses....  The orchard/forest is across the street to the right (east), and the lake runs from the left by the road, down along the back of the house (west).  I imagine some lovely sunsets over the lake.

I hate the waiting game of home-shopping.  We are now waiting on information about the cost of utilities, septic replacement, and some questions about the land off to the east.  All of this will help us craft an offer.  I already know that our offer will be lower than the asking price, so we will see if the seller is ready to come down.  Cross your fingers for us, will you?
