On Wednesday Aden stayed home with a bad cold. I received a surprise message from his teacher mid-afternoon expressing her disappointment that he was not there that day for the school assembly to receive an award he was chosen to receive, The Principal's Award.
Each year, at the end of the year, one boy and one girl from each class are chosen to be honored for their overall stewardship and academic excellence. Aden's teacher was so excited about Aden being chosen, and she wrote an extra note to tell us how much she has enjoyed having him in class this year.
This kind of thing is so much fun!
