Finally, Success!

Some of you may recall that I very regretfully purchased a tadpole habitat for Aden a year and a half ago for his birthday...  What followed was long, and fraught with challenge, but finally has come to an enjoyable conclusion.

After several attempts at raising teeeny tiiiiny mail order tadpoles failed, our friend Bobbi found and captured some larger tadpoles for us this spring.  We have been carefully monitoring them, cleaning their tank, trying to work out the perfect amount to feed them, and generally wishing them to mature in front of our very eyes.  Something worked!  One is nearly a complete frog, and the other three seem to be well on their way.  Each morning, the scene looks just like this:  Aden checks them, watches them, and feeds them, exclaiming over their progress.  How wonderful to finally witness this transformation from fish-like creatures to frogs!!!
