Parade of Pumpkins

This year Aden was not overjoyed about the prospect of costumes and trick-or-treating...  Therefore, we made our own Halloween plans, fit for an eight year-old: grand pumpkin carving and an evening of scary movies.

Here are the results:

Aden was a pro with the Xacto knife.  This was his
first year cutting.
Aden's special creation with the half-smile.

Aden's wolf howling at the moon.

Tara's masterpiece.

Tara's creative genius wins the most laughs...
This guy did not feel well...

My cat.

Dave's nicotine-loving noseless creature
of the night.

Chad's smurf look-alike.

Dave's fire-risk with the hole to the front.  It
got a bit smoky.....

Chad's cyclops.

Our jackolantern family on Halloween night.

Off to watch 'Gremlins'!

Happy Halloween to all!

Lots of great imagination at work here but weird person that I am, I am drawn to the cyclops. This looked like much more fun than trick or treating. Good idea.
