I'm home for a little bit to shower and eat.
This morning already Aden had chest x-rays again and labs. His pediatrician arrived and interpreted the last week from his perspective. Essentially now we have three main issues. First, the condition of Aden's lungs. They are in bad, bad shape, and are worse today than yesterday. There is fluid in the lung that will be monitored until tomorrow at which time the doctor will decide if Aden will need to go to Children's Hospital in the metro for a chest tube. Two, pain management in Aden's chest - now treated with morphine since 3 am morning. Three, abnormal labs results of unknown origin. Further labs, changes in IV and another medicine to try to address this.
Aden is one sick boy. It is hard to see him so very miserable. It has been a long week for us all.
Back the hospital.

Oh my gosh Kiessa. I can't imagine how hard this is on all of you. I am so sorry that you guys are having to go through this. We are thinking of you. Please take care, Brandi
