A Day In Pictures

By 7:00 our little Optimus Prime was very tired, sore and sensitive to the cold. We tricked and treated two houses, then went home to rest. What a big day! We are so happy to have Aden home!!!

Dave has lifted the ban on photos and content about him on the blog. YEAH! :)
Aden's masterpiece.
Surprise welcome home visit from Chad and Tara to help carve pumpkins.
Welcome home Frankenstein cake.

Here we are, ready to go. There are three tired people.
Are we really going home today? "I don't think this is really happening," said Aden.
Waiting.... Waiting.... Waiting.... To go home.
PICC comes out in preparation for going home. Not such a comfortable procedure...

Tired boy... Tired of the hospital.

And my two favorite pictures from earlier this week:

Dave gets some work done at the hospital.
Mars Mud, anyone?

Good riddance October. We won't miss you.

I am so glad you guys are out of there. It had to be nice to have Halloween, gain and extra hour of sleep while having your son and husband all under the same roof. Your own home! So how did the cats react? They will be the best medicine as you well know. I will try to call you later this evening; or you can call me when and if you have time.

Hey Aden –

All the pictures of you in the hospital (except the one of you blowing bubbles) made your Grandpa W & me sad, so we are SOOOO glad you are home and feeling better. Have Sally, Quaid and Marconi forgiven your Mom/Dad yet for taking their boy away?

OK Aden - what is an Optimus Prime? Do they exist in Wyoming.

What a cool “Welcome home Frankenstein cake”. We didn’t have any trick-or-treaters at our Powell house - I think everyone went to the big party down town. Of course, mmmmmmmm that means we have to eat all the “treats” ourselves!

Tell your Mom I agree w/ her choice of the 2 best pix for favorites - do you suppose you will grow up to be as handsome as that picture of your Dad?

You might cautiously share with your father that fans of this Blog are very pleased he has “lifted the ban on photos and content about him here”! We expect to see & hear more from him in the future.

Keep getting better Aden - we love you............... Grandpa and P
