This week has been busy and fun at our house! On Wednesday Aden went on a field trip with his first grade class to Chutes and Ladders (class picture above), and on Friday we brought the kittens to school to show his friends for a short time. Aden LOVES sharing his animal friends at school! Tonight our company arrived from Arizona. Aden is so excited to have playmates his age to play with for the weekend, and we are looking forward to our trip to the zoo tomorrow and to seeing the moving Up.My happy news is that the turtles returned to their wild places today. This means that I'm no longer heading up the digs for worms on a regular basis, nor paying $5.00 for about two days' worth of cricket dinners, nor am I cleaning the skankiest, most befouled water from the tank every two days! Hooraaaaayyyyyy for me!

Sounds like a fun day at a great playground! Is Aden that much taller than his classmates or is it the way the bridge is slanted?
I'm anxious to hear more about the "Fort Camp-out" w/ AZ friends.
Your little zoo is diminishing day by day. Hooray for you is right -- you are an EXTREMELY special Mom to take care of all those dastardly chores. You are down to cats and snakes??
