The winter has been long and the weather has been miserably cold... We still have a few piles of snow that haven't dissolved into the surrounding puddles... Despite this, we are well on our way to an enjoyable spring and summer with our critter friends!
Thanks to Bobbi, we have a new snake friend, Freddie, and another on the way. Aden has established the habitat and we are now awaiting Freddie's acceptance of his first meal.
The mud hasn't kept us away from the animal sanctuary either. Elk #138 is more interested in charging the fence than our offering of carrots. But that is more fun when you are 7 years old, anyway!
Meanwhile, Aden is also plotting the habitat for the creature he's been anticipating all winter: A TURTLE!
